I use simple motifs with high symbolic potential like trees, hands, bones as a starting point of personal image finding

I am fascinated of the narrative symbolic language and the flatness of the pictorial space of early medieval painting.

Inspired by papercutting techniques of folk art and surrealist techniques I developed a way to find images through cutting into and peeling away the paint layer; thus exposing the blank canvas.
